Lepidoptera species are known as vital key pollinators and biodiversity indicators of the environment. This study aimed to assess the distribution and diversity of Lepidopteran species in Sibalom Natural Park. Van Someren-Rydon (VSR) traps were utilized to collect data, which were analyzed using the Shannon-Wiener Index, Margalef diversity index, and Simpson's Diversity Index. A total of 84 Lepidoptera species were recorded across four distinct study sites in Sibalom Natural Park. Additionally, two unique species, namely Charaxes amycus and Allotinus fallax fallax, were present in the area. The findings of this study can serve as foundational data for strengthening biodiversity monitoring protocols specific to Lepidoptera within Sibalom Natural Park and other protected landscapes.
